The Sweet Smell Of Lavender

My my, what a world we live in! Not so long ago, a friend of mine asked me to help him building his own blog. Talk about misery! Talk about misery again! Didn't work well, was it the computer? Was it my friend? Was it the internet? So many questions rose like little weeds in the middle of summer after a nice warm shower. I got so fed up, and wound up, totally full of stress, I needed some distraction to ease the nerves.
So I went into the bathroom, filled the bath with hot water, actually lukewarm, because I have this sensitive skin and I just don't need a lobsterlike tan. I added some lavenderdrops, because I like the smell of lavender, it always reminds me of a wonderful summer I spent in France trying to learn the French language. That summer I met Gilles, an extraordinary goodlooking fisherman. He was just about twenty, I was sixteen. We fell in love like puppies, and we made wonderful puppylove, so ever since that summer, I adore the smell of lavender. By the way, I never really hit it off with French.
Anyway, I undressed and slipped into the tub like a hand in a glove, and I was overwhelmed with desire. And as I was gently stroking my skin with a real seasponge, the inevitable came along. My right hand slipped under the water to work its way into the cave I call Wonderland. (Sometimes as a joke, when I really do not want to listen to someone, I show them my hand and say 'Talk to Alice', but they never seem to get it). After a long visit my hand surfaced again and I was glowing with relief. Stressfree, I returned to the computer and my friend had sent me an email telling me his blog was getting shape. Maybe I was so high while I was in the bath, the positive vibes reached him from a distance and worked for him as well. I'm so glad I took a bath.
